Wordless Wednesday - You Never Know What You Will Find in the Woods

Old Car in the Woods

A couple of months ago myself and the little people were wandering around the backside of a friends property, he owns about 50 acres, and we came across a few old cars that were obviously parked there a long time ago. It would have been nice to see them in their former glory, but even with their rust they were still very neat to see on our hike.

Good evening JL Boney, III,

These treasures always have secrets of another time, another life. Don't you wish they could tell you their stories? Great find on your walking adventure!

I always wonder what it would take to restore these old treasures to their former glory, JL.

Makes me think of the saying for houses, "If only these walls could talk!"

Remember back in the day when people used to play in the woods and hide things and have secret hiding places?

That's an amazing find, JL.  I can imagine there will be a number of old scenes like that one resulting from our California wildfires.  Alas, most won't be from a vintage year like that one however.

Good morning JL. This reminds me of something the Pickers would find. I do like it.

Is that an old Plymouth? That looks like the model my grandmother drove in the early 50's.
