For those of you who have been following the Woman of Steele posts, thank you for your support. I wish the latest news I have on the topic was good news, but unfortunately that's not really the case. My wife and I found out this morning that the surgery did not take very well and that she has to have another surgery.
So, this Wednesday morning, I have to take her back to the hospital at 6am and they plan to operate on her around 8am. Hopefully this time things will work out for her and she will start the road to recovery. It still pains me to see her unable to go about her normal life, but this too shall pass. The surgeon says that her situation is already rare, what with her having to have a second surgery so soon. So, that being said, he is very optimistic that this should take care of the problem.

Simon- I truly hope that you make a full recovery.
Nicholas- Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers my friend.
JL,
Sorry to hear about this latest setback. I hope and pray that all goes well on Wednesday. You will both be in my thoughts, and hopefully, there is some consolation found by the outpouring of best wishes by the ActiveRain community. Peace.
Sorry to hear, JL. I hope your next update will be more positive news.
Better days ahead for you both.
Richard- Thank you so much. The best wishes from the AR community have been great.
Ted- I hope the next will be better news too.
Its Friday, JL - how did your wife do with the latest surgery ?
She is certainly due for some better news. I hope all is well.
Great to hear JL - Best wishes to you both for her speedy and complete recovery !
Constant pain is a real quality of life issue - this had to be fixed.
Nich- Thank you as always for your comments and for your continued support and prayers for my wife.
Simon- Believe it or not no brace or walker. She is slow but steady and able to move along without either apparatus.
Ted- It's certainly something that needed to be fixed and so far so good. Thank you for checking in on her.
Virginia- So far things are going as well as can be expected. Thank you for stopping in, and I hope your back feels better soon.
Tchaka- She is recovering well now. The first surgery was much harder on her, but this time she is moving right along.
How are you and your wife doing?
Don't be silly - the flowers are for her.
Ted- Jamie is greatly improved. Still not the most mobile person I know, but great considering the circumstances.
Cheryl- Thank you for your hopes and wishes, all is well so far.
