I was born here in Columbia, SC. I was raised in Winnsboro, SC just outside of Columbia and lived there until I was 18 years old. I am a graduate of Richard Winn Academy, where I attended high school. I am also a graduate of Midland's Tech where I studied computer networking, PC repair, graphic design, photo editing, and website design.
My work history includes maintenence at White Oak Conference Center, where I worked as a teenager. Mack Trucks where I worked as a material tech and then an analist from 1999 to 2003. After Mack Trucks Winnsboro plant closed, I went to work as a cabinet maker and a finisher at Ducane Fine Cabinetry. After they went bankrupt I then joined the team at M. Craig cabinet makers working on extremley high end furniture and cabinetry.
Shortly after obtaining my real estate liscense I signed on with Russell and Jeffcoat Real Estate Inc. here in Columbia, SC. I work in their Northeast office, which is located on Two Notch Rd. I also live in Northeast Columbia where I have called home for nine years and likely many more.
When I was sixteen years old, my mother bought me my first guitar. She could not afford lessons, so, I taught myself how to play. There were many times that she wished she had never bought that guitar, but I never gave up and she never took it back. Now I own 11 guitars and I can play them all. I take that same firm commitment and dedication into everything that I do.
Area of Expertise
I try not to pin myself down to one particular area. I do not work exclusivly with buyers, nor exclusivly with sellers and I don't simply go after the most expensive houses just so my commission is higher. My largest area of expertise is listening to my clients. That does not sound like much, but I you have ever been ignored by someone you thaught was supposed to help you, then you know how valuable a good listener can be.
I focus most of my attention on first time home buyers. For one they are the people who really need the most attention, as they are in a brand new situation. But, besides that, I really enjoy seeing people walk into a house that they might call their first home. It gives my a great deal of satisfaction to be helpful to any of my clients, but for me, I am most proud when I can help someone find their first home.
